What is Affordable Housing?
The Franklin Housing Authority provides decent and affordable rental housing in a safe and secure living environment for eligible families, the elderly and persons with disabilities. The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) administers Federal aid to local housing agencies that manage the housing for residents at rents they can afford.
FHA public housing comes in various sizes, and apartments are located all over the city of Franklin.
We work to enhance our residents’ quality of life by offering opportunities to participate in a multitude of community, educational and recreational programs, as well as job readiness and training initiatives.
