The Franklin Housing Authority (FHA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Guaranty Services. A firm will be selected to work with the FHA as the organization secures funding for various rehabilitation and new construction projects on an as-needed basis. It is FHA’s intent to utilize this contract on various projects. As services are needed, a specific scope will be defined and a fee negotiated. Condo available. The Franklin Housing Authority has a one bedroom condo available on our lease purchase program in the Villages at West Main. The monthly rent is $850. For more information contact Tena Hardy-Payne at 615-794-1247, ext. 212.

The Franklin Housing Authority (FHA) will be taking applications for the Project Based Voucher (PBV) Program and the Mainstream Voucher Program. The FHA has several PBV units throughout our portfolio. These units are subsidized with the resident paying 30% of their income for rent. The Mainstream Voucher Program provides vouchers to non-elderly person with disabilities. Applications will be taken February 8th-15th from 9 am – 3 pm at the Franklin Housing Authority Administrative Office at 200 Spring Street. All applicants should bring Social Security cards, birth certificates for all household members, proof of income, picture ID of anyone in the household 18 or over. Applicants for the mainstream voucher program should also bring proof of disability.

FHA provides affordable housing to families and individuals with low to moderate income. We operate 229 public housing units, 64 Low Income Housing Tax Credit Units and 22 affordable market rate units in Franklin, Tennessee, serving nearly 600 residents.
