Coronavirus Policy

To protect staff and residents who interact daily, we have instituted the following:

  • The Franklin Housing Authority office at 200 Spring Street, the Community Center at 100 Spring Street and the on-site management offices at Reddick Senior Residences, Reddick Street Apartments and Chickasaw Senior Community are currently closed to the public until further notice. Staff will be available to serve you by phone or email Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm.

  • Appointments and Inspections: All in-person appointments and/or inspections are by appointment only and on an as-needed basis. Staff will contact you to schedule. If a meeting is needed in one of the FHA buildings, you will be required to wear a mask and your temperature will be taken. Please contact your property manager/case manager if you have questions.

  • Rental Payments: Payment of rent is due on the 1st of each month. Rental payments may be placed in the secure drop box located at the Authority's offices at 200 Spring Street for public housing, Spring Street/Johnson Circle and Park Street residents. Chickasaw Senior Community, Reddick Street Apartments and Reddick Senior Residences should make their payments in the drop boxes at those properties. Please ensure that your name and address are on your money order/check.

  • Changes in Income: If you have a change in your employment income or expenses, it is important that you inform your property/case manager by telephone or by electronic mail (email) message. Staff will assist you on how to provide the necessary paperwork to determine your new rent amount. You may also provide written verification of changes by placing the documentation in the secure drop box at the Authority's offices.

  • Maintenance: The Authority will respond only to emergency, urgent and work order requests that are outside the building. Call (615) 794-1247. You will be asked several questions regarding the health of those in the unit when the work order is being placed. Routine work requests will be logged and processed at a later date. Maintenance staff have the ability to decline to enter a unit if they believe it is unsafe.

  • Integrated Pest Management: Pest control operations, including treatments for bedbugs and special treatments, in Authority owned and/or managed properties will continue as scheduled; however, they may be modified by the contractor.
