PUBLIC NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT AMENDMENT
TO THE ANNUAL AND/OR FIVE YEAR PLAN
The Franklin Housing Authority (FHA) is amending its Annual and/or Five Year PHA plan. The FHA has received a Commitment to Enter into a Housing Assistance Payments (CHAP) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the conversion of public housing units at Short Court and Natchez Street to Project Based Voucher assisted units under the Rental Assistance Demonstration Program (RAD) in accordance with the guidelines of PIH Notice 2019-23, Rev 4 and any successor notices. This conversion includes a transfer of assistance of 12 three-bedroom units to Cherokee Place and 8 two-bedroom units, 2 three-bedroom units, and 6 four-bedroom units at Shawnee Drive. Conversion under RAD is considered a Significant Amendment to the FHA Annual and/or Five Year Plan.
This is a 45-day notice with an opportunity to present public comments regarding this change.
The draft of the proposed Significant Amendment is available for review at the FHA Administrative Office at 200 Spring Street, Franklin, TN 37064.
Comments must be made in writing and presented to the Administrative Office located at 200 Spring Street, Franklin, TN 37064, Attn: Lindsi Green or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 4:00 pm on Monday, May 24, 2021.
